What’s more exciting than paddling down the Kennebec River? Doing it with new friends while diving into the rich local history along the way, of course.

Skowhegan Outdoors is excited to bring you the 2024 Kennebec River Ramble on Saturday, September 14th.  Join Skowhegan Outdoors on a free guided river adventure where participants can enjoy a day on the water while learning about the past. present, and future significance of the Kennebec River and its surrounding land.

Guided by the Skowhegan Outdoors team, with special guest appearances along the way, the Ramble is an enjoyable family-friendly event offering an amazing way to spend time on the venerable Kennebec River.

The paddle is about 8 miles in length and will take approximately 4 hours. There will be several “history chat” stops along the way.  This is an easy-going run.
