One of the best ways to enjoy spending time in Maine’s Kennebec Valley is by going camping. Camping is a fun activity pursued outdoors, away from cities and towns in nature, with fresh air and sometimes wildlife. Find a campground that suits your style; set up a tent, pop up the camper, or bring some of your home with you in an RV.
Camping can also be combined with other adventure activities, such as hiking, fishing, whitewater rafting, and kayaking, for a total outdoor experience. It’s a pastime that can be enjoyed by all ages, and for families, with kids in tow, camping is the perfect warm-weather activity.
