let’s go Camping
One of the best ways to enjoy spending time in Maine’s Kennebec Valley is by going camping. Camping is a fun activity pursued outdoors, away from cities and towns in nature, with fresh air and sometimes wildlife. Find a campground that suits your style; set up a tent, pop up the camper, or bring some of your home with you in an RV.

Camping can also be combined with other adventure activities, such as hiking, fishing, whitewater rafting, and kayaking, for a total outdoor experience. It’s a pastime that can be enjoyed by all ages, and for families, with kids in tow, camping is the perfect warm-weather activity.

campgrounds
There are more than a dozen campgrounds in the region from which to select. Always call ahead, it is best to make a reservation, and be sure to ask about any current restrictions or policies put in place for 2020.
